St. Vincent-St. Mary, The Plain Dealer's No. 2-ranked boys basketball team, grabbed an 18-14 first-quarter lead but needed a strong fourth quarter and got it against 11th-ranked St. Edward in a nonleague game Friday night. The Fighting Irish outscored the visiting Eagles, 24-19, in the final quarter for a 63-60 win.
